MASTERCLASS: ACTING THROUGH SONG
with jake lyle
Join Jake Lyle for an exclusive Acting Through Song Masterclass, designed for aspiring performers looking to elevate their storytelling, emotional connection, and performance technique.
Fresh from his professional debut as The Phantom with Opera Australia in The Phantom of the Opera on Sydney Harbour, Jake will share his insights into bringing songs to life through authentic acting choices, character development, and vocal storytelling.

This interactive masterclass will begin with a short presentation from Jake, sharing his insights into storytelling and the techniques he uses to create compelling performances. Participants will then have the opportunity to present a prepared song and workshop it one-on-one with Jake, receiving personalised feedback and guidance to strengthen their acting choices, vocal storytelling, and connection to the material. The session will conclude with an open Q&A, giving attendees the chance to ask questions about training, auditions, professional performance, and Jake's experience playing The Phantom with Opera Australia.
